Clarence Marshes Event - Wrap Up
Special thanks to Bernard Walker and Phil Stigant for setting the courses for this event. Although scrubby in places, it was a beautiful area and much enjoyed by all competitors. Thanks also to the many people who worked behind the scenes to make it run so smoothly. In particular, thanks to those who assisted by collecting controls on the Sunday.
Congratulations to the event winners: Andrew Koolhof and Ed Dodridge won the 12 hour event with an impressive 900 points. Mandy Giblin and Kristin Raw won the 6 hour event with an equally impressive 560 points.

 Annual General Meeting
This will be held on Thursday 22 March at Ross Kelly's house, 30 Caroline Street Dynyrne, commencing at 8pm. Please bring your map if you competed at the Clarence Marshes event as we will have a discussion about course options. There will also be a discussion about how best to organise events in the future.
Equipment Storage
Rogaining Tasmania needs a new home for its equipment. If you have some available shed or under house space we would love to hear from you. Please contact Nick Bowden if you can help.
The 2012 Australian Rogaining Championships
Entries close on 6 April which is not far away. A late fee applies after that and the absolute cut-off for entries is 20 April.
Competitors are urged to use the Bus and Bunk option, if possible. It is a much cheaper option than driving to the event. Bus and Bunk costs $90 per head while Bus Only is $55 return.
For those who do not want to compete in the 24 hour championships there is a 12 hour within 22 hour time-frame event. This would suit people who do not want to navigate at night but who would still like to experience first hand the rugged beauty of the Flinders Ranges.
